The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is currently requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from experienced firms from which to choose a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide both pre-construction services, as well as complete the construction of the Brackish Groundwater Desalination Program. The CMAR will serve as a team member in conjunction with a Program Manager and SAWS. The work and all related construction services shall require a scope of service to be performed by a single qualified and independent construction firm or team of construction firms to serve as the CMAR. The CMAR will serve as a team member in conjunction with the Program Manager and SAWS. Construction shall be completed using a CMAR form of procurement in accordance with Section 2267.251 et seq. of the Texas Government Code.
