The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) desires to engage a law firm(s) to provide Bond Counsel services to assist SAWS in matters related to the issuance of both long-term and short-term debt, which will requirea Scope of Services to be performed bya qualified law firm(s). The firm(s) selected would provide the requested services for SAWS and the SAWS District Special Project for up to a three-year term with one option to renew for one two-year term at the same terms and conditions at the option of SAWS.
SAWS, at its option, may select a pool of firms to provide the Scope of Service. Those firms selected will be offered a Letter of Engagement. The firms in the pool may be offered assignments for particular projects at the discretion of the SAWS Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. As such, SAWS cannot guarantee any minimum volume of work, if any at all, for firms selected for the pool. Also, SAWS reserves the right to engage Outside Counsel not in the pool, if in the opinion of the Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer, it is necessary to retain such Outside Counsel.
