Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 7,650 linear feet of 24-inch diameter water main to include but not limited to water main tie-ins, pipeline installation at various depths, bore and/or tunneling under existing roadways and driveways, fittings and other water main appurtenances, trench excavation safety protection, tree protection, erosion control and traffic control measures for the Cross Mountain Trail 24-Inch Water Transmission Main Project, SAWS Job No.(s) 10-7003.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M. (CT) on April 13, 2012 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Service Building, 1st floor, Conference Room 137, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas.
Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 PM (CT), April 25, 2011. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
