Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the Leon Creek Water Recycling Center (WRC) Interconnect to the Southwest Bexar Sewer Pipeline (SBSP) Project (the “Interconnect”), SAWS Job No. 10-6501, which consists of the construction of a gravity sewer pipeline with aerial crossing tying the Leon Creek WRC into the SBSP; work at the Leon Creek WRC, including modifications to the flow equalization basin (FEB) diversion structure, FEB screening facility, FEB drainage system, primary clarifier flow meter vaults, sulfur dioxide system, and associated electrical and instrumentation; and the elimination and gravity tie-in of Verano Lift Station No. 5 to the proposed Interconnect.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division at the Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212 until 2:00 PM (CT) on March 19, 2012. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Suite 169, San Antonio, Texas 78212. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
