The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is pursuing professional engineering design services for the replacement of a 27” and 24” gravity main along S. Alamo starting from St. Mary’s St. until it reach the intersection of E. Market St.; traversing along the west right-of-way line of S. Alamo St., becoming a 42-inch main along Losoya until it reaches E. Houston St. and continuing to Broadway from E. Houston St to McCullough Ave. The project also includes the replacement of a 54-inch main along McCullough to Ave B, a 54-inch main along Ave B to 12th St., turning north along Broadway until it reaches Josephine St. Another segment to be replaced of 60-inch gravity main with small sections of 42-inch main starts at IH-37 and McCullough Ave. The 90-inch main following Interstate 37 to 6th St to North Alamo St to East Josephine St and including a separate section of 90-inch gravity main west of Broadway along East Josephine St to Ave B to north of the intersection of Mill Race and Ave B. will also be replaced as well as 78-inch, 42-inch and 27-inch gravity mains following the creek north and south of East Hildebrand Ave and west of Broadway.  The project also includes a 42”, 48”, and 54” gravity main along Alamo St between Market St and St Mary’s. SAWS is accepting Statements of Qualifications in connection with the C_13_ Broadway Corridor – Josephine St to South Alamo St Project which will require a scope of service to be performed by a qualified consultant or consulting firm.
