San Antonio Water System

Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 7,401 linear feet of 24-inch water main, 6,350 linear feet of 16-inch water main and 164 linear feet of 12-inch water main for the Borgfeld Road – East, 16-Inch and 24-Inch Oversize (12-Inch Required) Water Main Project, SAWS Job No. 07-3008.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CST) on October 7, 2010 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum.
 
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. on October 4, 2010 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Service Building, 2nd floor, Conference Room CR-239, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas.
 
Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 2:00 p.m., October 12, 2010. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
