Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of removal and replacement of four (4) bridges that span existing Carousel Aeration Basins 4 and 5, each with dimensions of approximately 7-ft wide by 70.67-ft long, to ensure safe access across the carousels for the Medio Creek WRC Carousels 4 & 5 Bridges Replacement Project, SAWS Job No. 10-6503.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Department, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:30 a.m., August 13, 2010. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
A non-mandatorypre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on August 3, 2010 at the San Antonio Water System’s Medio Creek Water Recycling Center, 2231 Hunt Lane, San Antonio, Texas 78227.
