Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of approximately 881 linear feet (LF) of 27-inch, 6235 LF of 24-inch, 4153 LF of 18-inch, 48 LF of 12-inch, and 60 LF of 8-inch sewer main, 1 lift station and 4100 LF of 6-inch sewer force main for the Verano Phase I Sanitary Sewer Project, SAWS Job No’s.: 10-1526 and 10-1527.

Sealed bids will be received by the Contract Administration Division, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, Suite 171, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:00 a.m., July 14, 2010. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Contract Administration, Suite 169, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. on July 6, 2010 at the San Antonio Water System 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas, 78212, Customer Service Building, 1st floor, Conference Room CR-C137.
