REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is seeking a qualified creative graphics design company to assist with the design and development of program support materials for online and print production needs in various formats for the Communications, External Relations and Conservation Department. These services are unspecified and will be performed on an as needed basis as individual Work Orders.

The selected firm shall provide the following services:

                i.         The selected consultant must be able to provide the following services under this contract: Conceptual development which may include some writing, creative graphic web, and multimedia design and productions, and print production based on SAWS branding project requirements.

               ii.         Consultant shall, in discussion with SAWS personnel, garner a clear understanding of each project’s requirements such as:

1.     Messaging to be developed; who is the target audience; types of media to be used; project budgets; and timelines for completion

              iii.         The consultant agrees to perform all services necessary, as determined by industry best practices, to act on SAWS’ behalf to complete the assignment, while implementing the current SAWS approved design standards.

             iv.         Consultant shall develop a cost estimate and schedule of milestones to complete each project assignment for SAWS review and approval, prior to conducting any work.

              v.         The estimated budget for the program support material graphics design services is: Not to exceed $200,000.00 annually.

             vi.         Terms of the contract will be for one year with four (4) one-year extension options.
