San Antonio Water System

Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the rehabilitation and painting of a 7.5 MG ground storage tank for the Naco Ground Storage Tank Rehabilitation Project, SAWS Job No. 17-0113. The project includes, but is not limited to, the repainting of the interior and exterior surfaces, overflow pipe modifications, other minor piping modifications, weir box replacement, minor foundation improvements, tank ladder improvements, roof vent replacement, electrical improvements, and other miscellaneous work.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at 2:30 PM 10:00 AM (CT) on December 6 December 9, 2019 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Service Building, 1^st floor, Conference Room CR 145 CR-C154, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at 10:00 AM (CT) on December 9, 2019 at the San Antonio Water System’s Customer Service Building, 1^st Floor, Conference Room CR-C154, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas 78212.  A non-mandatory pre-proposal site visit will be held immediately following the pre-proposal meeting on December 9, 2019 at the San Antonio Water System’s Naco Pump Station, 13655 O’Connor Road, San Antonio, Texas 78233.

Answers to the questions will be posted to the web site by 4:00 PM (CT) on December 13, 2019 as a separate document or included as part of an addendum. Please be advised that Bidders are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or City of San Antonio officials regarding this RFCSP up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders.

Sealed proposals will be received by Counter Services in the Customer Service office across from the Guard Station, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, Customer Center Building, San Antonio, Texas 78212, until 10:30 AM (CT), January 6, 2020 December 20, 2019.  Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud by Contract Administration in CR-C137, Customer Center Building, 2800 U.S. Hwy 281 North, San Antonio, Texas. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
