REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)

30-INCH WATER MAIN ALONG LOCKHILL-SELMA

TO DEZAVALA ELEVATED STORAGE TANK

The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is pursuing professional engineering services and accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified and interested firms (Respondents) in response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), for the design and construction of approximately 5,000 linear feet of 30-inch water main along the Lockhill-Selma to DeZavala Elevated Storage Tank. The scope entails the design of large diameter water main for specified project as required by SAWS. This specified project will require engineering services to be performed by the selected qualified engineering firm (Consultant). Consultant must have familiarity working on projects using open-cut and directional drilling construction methods within the City of San Antonio (COSA), Bexar County, Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), and other governing agencies’ right-of-way (ROW).

The anticipated services will include civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, tunnel engineering, project management, investigation, topographic survey services, subsurface utility engineering, design, construction management, project coordination, preliminary engineering, final design, and other engineering services as necessary for this project. Engineering disciplines under this contract may include civil, environmental, structural, geotechnical, and or other types of engineering and supporting sciences (e.g., geology, environmental, archaeology, etc.).
