San Antonio Water System

The San Antonio Water System (“SAWS”) is pursuing a request for proposals (“RFP”) seeking the

services of a qualified consulting firm (“Respondent”) to assess the economic viability of the SAWS

district cooling system, which includes its buildings, equipment, distribution systems, easements and

rights of way, and contracts for chilled water service (collectively, the “DCS”) and provide options for

the future of the DCS that will provide the best value to SAWS and achieve the economic and

sustainability goals of SAWS and the City of San Antonio (“COSA”) (this assessment and provision of

options hereinafter referred to as the “Project”). The general objective of the Project is to define

economic and technically feasible options for the future direction of the DCS.
